Welcome to UBIA

UBIA is the Belgian society of automotive engineers, itself a member society of EAEC (www.eaec.net) and FISITA (www.fisita.com). UBIA was founded in 1960, as the “SBIA”, after a period in which the Belgian section had been a part of the French “SIA” (since 1938). When the society became fully bilingual in 1986 (French/Dutch), the name was changed to UBIA to reflect this.
